It used to be a running joke it my family that I could eat my parents out of house & home, something I am now experiencing with my own two kids. Here at Baking with Granny we are big fans of simple, classic recipes. The kind that, well, your Granny would have made! The best thing about these kinds of recipes is that they are generally easy enough to try baking with kids, as well as being delicious. And Jam Tarts fit within this niche perfectly!
There’s a birthday approaching in the Baking with Granny house. And it’s a big one! Granny has recently retired from making cakes but as it’s John’s 5th birthday next week she has decided to put her pinny on once more and whip up another birthday cake that will no doubt get heads turning. To mark the occasion, lets take a wee look back at all the birthday cakes she’s already done for the The Boys over the past 5 years!
