I hope you love Scottish Bakes and that it finds a cherished spot on your kitchen shelf. As a small independent seller, every single order means the world, but I also understand that sometimes things don’t go quite to plan.

Here’s how I will handle refunds and returns, in line with UK consumer law.

Changed Your Mind?

If you’ve ordered the book by mistake, or simply changed your mind, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return – this is your legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

To be eligible for a refund:

Once we receive the book back and check it’s in good nick, I will process your refund (excluding original delivery costs) within 14 days.

Please note: If the book arrives back damaged or shows signs of use, I may not be able to offer a full refund.

Something Wrong With Your Book?

We pack each order with care, but if your book arrives damaged or faulty, I want to sort that as quickly as possible.

Drop me an email at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery, ideally with a photo or two showing the issue, and I will either:

If returning your book, please post it (safely packaged) to:

I recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage, just in case.

A Quick Note on Exchanges

As I am only selling one product – Scottish Bakes – I’m not able to offer exchanges. But if there’s a problem with your order, I will do my best to put it right.
